Investment strategy

The Specialist Open Investment Fund AGRO Capital for Development is a fund of non-public assets which applies the rules and restrictions of the closed fund.

Fund Assets are divided into capital portfolio and a portfolio of liquid assets.

  • The investment objective of the Fund's capital portfolio is to increase the value of the assets of the Fund as a result of the increase in value of investments of the Fund.
  • The investment objective of the Fund within the portfolio of liquid assets is to protect the real value of the assets of the Fund.

The Fund, subject to the limitations specified in the Articles of Association, may invest in the equity portfolio, only:

  1. securities;
  2. receivables of legal persons;
  3. shares in public limited companies.

The Fund, subject to the limitations specified in the Articles of Association, may invest in a portfolio of liquid assets, only at:

  1. money market instruments;
  2. deposits in national banks.

The Fund applies the following principles of diversification of investments and investment restrictions:

  1. at least 80% of the Fund's assets value are invested in the assets other than:
    • a) securities being the subject of public offer or securities introduced to trading on the regulated market, unless the securities became the subject of public offer or were introduced to trading on the regulated market upon their purchase by the Fund;
    • b) instruments of the money market, unless they were issued by non-public companies, which stocks or shares consist part of investment portfolio of the Fund.
  2. up to 20% of the Fund's assets value can be invested in securities or money market instruments issued by one entity, debts in money towards that entity and its shares
  3. deposits in a national bank, foreign bank or lending institution can not constitute more than 20% of the Fund's assets.

The Fund will not make any transactions in foreign currencies and open any deposits outside the borders of the Republic of Poland.
